Prince Rupert Seamen Rugby Club

On August 19th, 2026, Chances Prince Rupert was pleased to welcome representatives of the Prince Rupert Seamen Rugby Club for the formal presentation of our charitable contribution in support of sports programs in our community.

The visiting representatives were welcomed by Mary Denton of Gitxaała Enterprises and Steve Kalanpour, the Assistant General Manager at Chances Prince Rupert.

The Prince Rupert Seamen Rugby Club is a 15s men’s rugby team that was founded in 1973. Well funded sports teams and clubs help create healthy, thriving communities where the love of sport and fitness can be perpetuated through training camps, equipment donation, and coaching. Prince Rupert Seamen Rugby Club runs a free rugby camp, which our donation will go towards supporting, as well as development weekends featuring elite guest coaches.
